Adjunct Professor of Law

Soumya Sharma focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, sales of businesses, joint ventures and strategic alliances, with particular emphasis on cross-border transactions. Her practice also includes representing U.S. and non-U.S. issuers and private equity funds in a wide range of public and private M&A transactions (U.S. and multijurisdictional), including stock and asset purchases. Within the corporate finance practice area, Ms. Sharma has represented U.S. issuers in a wide range of primary and secondary capital markets transactions involving debt, equity and other hyrbrid securities. With more than two decades of experience, Ms. Sharma's practice is defined by long-term relationships built on trust, cultural fluency and commercial pragmatism.
