Susanne Toes Keane SUSANNE TOES KEANE is the Director of City Bar Justice Center, Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Project (SDNY). Prior to joining the Justice Center she was the lead attorney of the Mediation Group at New York Legal Assistance Group, SDNY Clinic for Pro Se Litigants responsible for representing clients throughout the settlement process.

Prior to joining NYLAG and stepping away from paid employment to work at home and in her community, she was an associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy for over seven years, and the Securities Litigation Practice Group at Weil, Gotshal and Manges for three years. She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and her B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
