Sydney Kipen

Adjunct Professor of Law

Sydney Kipen is Intellectual Property Counsel for Gucci America, Inc. She has been with Gucci since September 2021, prior to which she was an associate in the litigation group of the boutique IP firm Fross Zelnick.

In her role at Gucci, Sydney manages all intellectual property strategy, related activities, and programs as they relate to the United States. This includes brand enforcement actions and investigations, research and clearances related to fashion collections and brand projects/events, and IP portfolio prosecution and optimization. She also collaborates with the Gucci IP team around the world to implement and execute Gucci’s global IP strategy.

Sydney received a Bachelor of Science degree in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU and her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law.
