Zaid Hydari

Zaid Hydari is the founder and Managing Attorney at Gray Whale Law, PLLC. In addition to leading businesses and individuals through changing tides of employment and family-based immigration matters, Zaid is also the Executive Director and co-founder of the Refugee Solidarity Network (RSN), a US-based non-profit that works to protect the rights of the displaced through legal advocacy, research, and capacity-strengthening.

He is also an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School (FLS), where he has taught Immigration Law and International Refugee Law & Policy. Zaid is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has published in academic journals and media on the topics of international humanitarian assistance, migration, and development. He received a B.A. in History and Government from the University of Texas at Austin, and a law degree from FLS, where he was a Stein Scholar for Public Interest and was active in the Community Economic Development Clinic, Walter Leitner International Human Rights Clinic, Immigration Advocacy Project, National Lawyers Guild, and South Asian Law Students Association.
