  • A: We require you to book your travel at least two weeks in advance to guarantee vehicles and drivers. That said, you should book your trip as early as possible. Requests within the 2-week window will typically be accepted but are subject to vehicle and driver availability.

    The following situations may require additional evaluation before DUT can guarantee service, even if the trip request is submitted more than two weeks before your trip:

    • Large groups (approx. 70 passengers or higher)
    • Multi-destination trips (4 or more stops)
    • Long-distance (3 hrs +) or overnight trips
    • Trips during scheduled University closures or events
    • Conferences or other multi-day events

  • A: Costs vary depending on various factors but typically compare favorably against rates from Enterprise and other outside vendors. Driver fees will vary depending on the availability of drivers and the time of your trip. Submit a request for an exact quote!

  • A: Requests can be submitted by any Fordham community member but must be approved by a Fordham budget administrator. Student clubs wishing to submit a charter request should seek assistance through the Office of Student Involvement. All payments must be made through an internal Fordham budget transfer.

  • A: Ram Van has 15-passenger vans, 7-passenger minivans, an accessible minivan, and 6-8 seat golf carts. The availability and makeup of the fleet are subject to change as vehicles are added or retired. Please note that these totals include one seat for a driver. For example, the 15-passenger van option has one seat for the driver and 14 seats for passengers.

  • A: While we would love to be able to provide service for you on your special day, unfortunately, we cannot offer charter services for weddings at the University's church.

  • A: Please note that we will be unable to accept charter trip requests on the following dates:

    • March 17, 2024 - April 1, 2024
    • April 26-28, 2024
    • May 5-22, 2024
    • May 27, 2024
    • May 31 - June 2, 2024
    • June 19, 2024
    • July 4-7, 2024
