Fall New Student Orientation at Lincoln Center
The New Student Orientation Team is excited to welcome the newest class of Rams to Fordham College at Lincoln Center!
The 2025-2026 Academic School year's New Student Orientation is mandatory and will take place in-person from Sunday, August 24, 2024 - Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
We are very excited to welcome parents and family members to campus for Opening and Move-In on Sunday, August 24, to various family orientation events during that day, and to help resident students with move in.
Although the detailed schedule will be released in Summer of 2025. Keep an eye on your inbox for emails from our New Student Orientation Team beginning in May of 2025! We hope this is helpful during this transition for you and your family!

This reflects the general implementation of Fall New Student Orientation at Lincoln Center from past academic years. The schedule of events is subject to change as plans become more concrete in the coming months.
Sunday, August 24
Welcome to Fordham - Opening Day! On Opening Day, we will host move in for Residential Students, check in for Commuters, open houses sponsored by University Departments, receptions, and the official Welcome Addresses from the President and Deans. Programming is open to students and families, until we transition to student only sessions around 5pm.
Monday, August 25
Mandatory New Student Orientation programming for all incoming first-year and transfer students begins around 8:00 a.m. and will end at approximately 6:30 p.m. for commuter transfer students, with commuter first-year students ending around 8:30 p.m. Residents will have their floor meetings at approximately 6:30 p.m. All new students are welcome to join us for the optional evening social programming beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 26
Mandatory New Student Orientation programming begins at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will end around 4:00 p.m for incoming new students.
