Ms. Benko recently performed in Claudia Rankine’s play HELP at The Shed and in Sarah Ruhl’s Becky Nurse of Salem at Lincoln Center. Other Broadway credits include: The Rose Tattoo, The Crucible, The Cherry Orchard, Macbeth, and Not About Nightingales. New York Theatre credits include: SpindleShuttleNeedle at Clubbed Thumb, Scenes From a Marriage and The Little Foxes both directed by Ivo Van Hove at NY Theatre Workshop, John Guare's Nantucket Sleighride at Lincoln Center Theatre, Jonathan Spector’s Eureka Day for Colt Coeur, Rajiv Joseph's Describe The Night for The Atlantic Theatre Company, Julius Caesar for Shakespeare in the Park/Public, Marie and Bruce, Julie Taymor's production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Theatre For A New Audience, Elfriede Jellinek's Jackie (Lucille Lortel nomination),Toni Morrison's Desdemona directed by Peter Sellars, and Daniel Fish's Who Left This Fork Here. She has taught classes at Carnegie Mellon, Columbia University, HB Studios, New York Film Academy, LIU, and Fordham University.
