Meet the Vice Dean for Undergraduate Education

Rachel Annunziato is the Vice Dean for Undergraduate Education in the Arts and Sciences and a Professor of Psychology at Fordham University. She has been awarded “Teacher of the Year in the Sciences”, “Undergraduate Research Mentor of the Year” and recognized for “Excellence in Graduate Teaching” at Fordham.

Rachel’s research program aims to improve quality of life for patients with special health care needs and to develop approaches that facilitate successful transitions to adulthood. She has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications and she is a co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Health Psychology. As a vice dean, she oversees undergraduate education in the liberal arts, focusing on well-being, advising, high impact practices, programming related to student support and success, thereby integrating her evidence-based work on young adult transitions to higher education.
