Undergraduate Study in Arts and Sciences: Honors Programs, Societies, and Awards

Arts and sciences undergraduate students who excel within our rigorous curriculum are recognized for their performance throughout their academic career. Our mission is to produce and promote a community of scholars for justice. We achieve our mission through a curriculum that in some substantive way focuses on the concerns of diversity and justice in each of its courses, regardless of discipline or subject matter.

In addition to academics, Honors students engage in extracurricular events and activities that foster leadership and community engagement.

Lincoln Center Honors Program

Fordham College at Lincoln Center has one of the smallest, most selective Honors Programs in the nation. We admit approximately 19 students per year. Admission into the program is by invitation only.

Rose Hill Honors Program

Fordham College at Rose Hill Honors Program has provided exceptional students with the opportunity to pursue their core studies in greater depth, breadth, and intensity.

OUR FCRH STEM Honors Program is a selective, research-intensive academic experience for outstanding undergraduate students majoring in the sciences, mathematics, and computer science.

Honor societies

Honor societies are organizations for students of high academic achievement and are intended to bring together like-minded individuals with high scholastic standards and interests.

The Matteo Ricci Seminar is for students who are or wish to be, distinctively engaged in meaningful work beyond the classroom, whether it be a field of research, community action, or student leadership. This experience challenges students to reflect on their place in this increasingly complex world, deepen their commitment to active engagement, and develop their unique voices through collaboration with peers and mentors. The Seminar is directed by faculty members with support from the Dean of Arts & Sciences Office.
