General Transfer Information

All transfer students interested in the Theatre Program must apply for admission to the University, in addition to completing the audition/interview process. Here is more information on the University's transfer admissions process. For information on how to apply to transfer into one of the Theatre Program tracks, please see below:

Please note that Fordham University cannot guarantee on-campus housing for transfer students.

Because the Playwriting track accepts only 1-2 new students each year, we do not accept transfer students. A student must enter the Playwriting program as a freshman.

Transfer Information for the Directing Track

For entrance for Fall 2019
All in-person interview requests must be scheduled by December 15, 2018.
See the Directing Track Interview page for interview details.

If you are unable to attend the scheduled in-person interview dates, please contact Prof. Elizabeth Margid, Head of the Directing Track, at margid@fordham.edu to inquire about the possibility of setting up an individual or SKYPE interview.

Finally, a non-refundable audition fee of $50 is required after registering for your audition/interview. Once you have registered, your confirmation email will include a payment link. You must pay the audition/interview fee, in a timely manner, in order to avoid cancellation of your audition/interview. However, if you are an internal transfer, the fee will be waived. Please notify us after registering for your interview.
