* Fireside Chats are held in partnership with Fordham’s Rose Hill Commuter Students Association with the goal of engaging students and fostering meaningful dialogue on environmental justice issues and initiatives, exploring pressing matters surrounding environmental equity and action within areas of EPA Region 2 – New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands – that have long been burdened by environmental inequities.

With approximately 40% of the full-time, undergraduate students at the Bronx campus commuting, this partnership honors the vital role that commuter students play in local and regional communities. With this understanding, our goal is to facilitate conversations that amplify the voices of those impacted by environmental injustices.
