Philip Gould is a senior adviser to Tony Blair. A former marketing and advertising executive, he runs a political consulting firm with President Bill Clinton's strategy and polling aides James Carville and Stanley Greenberg. An adviser to Labour since 1985, Gould is one of the chief architects of the modernization of the party. He has also worked in the U.S. on the two Clinton presidential campaigns and has advised left-of-center parties from Germany to Jamaica. He resides in London.
