SUMMARY:
Reporting to the AVP of Enterprise AI, the Student AI Strategy & Operations Assistant provides critical support in identifying how AI can enhance academic and operational processes at the university. This role assists the AVP in researching use cases, evaluating emerging trends, and supporting the integration of AI solutions to improve campus efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Research & Analysis: Conducts research on emerging AI trends and best practices specifically relevant to higher education to identify potential university use cases.
- Strategic Planning: Supports the development of AI roadmaps and priorities aligned with the university's strategic goals.
- Operational Support: Assists in analyzing university operations to find areas where AI can solve challenges or create new opportunities for students and faculty.
- Collaboration: Works alongside IT teams, administrators, and faculty to understand campus needs and facilitate discussions regarding AI adoption.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Current Enrollment: Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Foundational Knowledge: Growing exposure to artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- Analytical Skills: String problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate technical concepts into clear recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills for engaging with diverse university stakeholders.
PREFERRED
- Proven ability to conduct thorough research and evaluate complex industry trends.
- Experience or interest in developing strategic plans and project roadmaps.
COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour
