10 Years of the Center on Race, Law and Justice

This year, the Center on Race, Law and Justice is celebrating a noteworthy milestone—a decade of Impact, Community, and Scholarship! We are celebrating and reflecting on the Center’s legacy over the last 10 years. This 10 Year Anniversary is a fundraising opportunity for support the Center desperately needs to be able to continue its important work. So many people, institutions and organizations have been integral to the work of the Center. This year is an opportunity for our supporters to be in community with staff, volunteers, and partners.

“The United States is in the midst of a national conversation about race and inequality unlike any seen in a generation.” These words were written when the Center was first launched, they could have been easily written today. The continuing and sustained attacks on foundational American principles and traditions - the brunt of which are borne by Black, brown, poor, immigrant, and LGBTQI communities, and the intersection of those identities - makes the work of the Center ever more urgent.
