About the 3-2 cooperative program in engineering
At Fordham, you’ll have the unique opportunity to enroll in a five-year dual-degree program in partnership with Columbia University or Case Western Reserve University. After spending your first three years at Fordham earning your BS or BA in a STEM-related field, you’ll be eligible to complete a bachelor’s degree in engineering at either school.
Here, you’ll conduct cutting-edge research alongside faculty experts. Gain hands-on internship experience in NYC with industry partners including Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As a part of the 3-2 cooperative program, you’ll explore the ethical and social risks of using AI. But you’ll also learn to use AI for efficiency and productivity, especially in areas like coding, software development, and system architecture. And you’ll be prepared for high-growth roles in AI-driven systems management, predictive technology, and brain mapping.
You’ll also be able to earn credentials and paid micro-internships through IBM SkillsBuild’s Getting Started with AI course. All Fordham students and graduates have access to AI training through RamConnect, the University’s alumni and experiential learning platform.
