Adrian is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, having served with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University and a Master of Public Administration from the Marxe School of International and Public Affairs at Baruch College. With a deep commitment to service and leadership, Adrian brings a unique blend of military experience and academic expertise to his professional endeavors.

Juvie is a U.S. Army veteran, military spouse, and proud Fordham alumna, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and first got her start as a work-study student as the veterans career liaison—an experience that sparked her passion for HR and student support. She now serves as an adviser to new work-study students while continuing to support student veterans and military-connected students. Juvie focuses on building people-centered systems that reduce friction, increase clarity, and help individuals feel seen, supported, and set up to succeed.

Kayla has served in the United States Marine Corps for over 9 years– 5 years Active Duty as an Air Intelligence Specialist with various units aboard MCAS Miramar, CA, and an ongoing Reservist with 1st Civil Affairs Group in Camp Pendleton, CA. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Humanitarian Studies with a minor in Arabic and has interests in Middle Eastern studies, disaster relief, human rights, and emergency management. As SVAF President, Kayla hopes to be a leader and advocate for the veteran and military-connected population at Fordham. She wishes to continue fostering a welcoming and resourceful community that is integrated with the greater Fordham student community, as well as strengthening relationships with local and veteran communities throughout New York City.

Juan Calvillo, SVAF Vice President, Lincoln Center; Chief of Staff

Juan Calvillo serves as the Vice President and Chief of Staff for the Student Veterans of America at Fordham. He previously served as SVAF Secretary, supporting the chapter’s internal operations, organizational structure, and ongoing development across Rose Hill and Lincoln Center. Juan is a Social Work major at Fordham University, expected to graduate in 2028. Before Fordham, he served six years in the U.S. Army as a 15Y AH-64 Armament, Electrical, and Avionics Systems Repairer, gaining experience in leadership, maintenance operations, training, and team management. Through his work with SVAF, he is focused on supporting veterans, dependents, and military families.

Daniel is the Treasurer for the Student Veterans of America at Fordham. He served five years in the Marine Corps, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Ithaca College, and is currently enrolled in Fordham's Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med/Pre-Health program. Through SVAF, he is committed to supporting and giving back to the veteran and military-connected community.
