Center for Ethics Education Research

In the HDSJ Lab, our research is at the intersection of developmental science and social justice. We apply developmental theory and research methods, as well as contemporary research ethics frameworks, to examine the experiences that promote equity and wellbeing among under-researched populations.

Fordham University's Center for Ethics Education is the home for the International Association of Jesuit Universities (IAJU)'s initiative on campus safety, “Engaging Students at Jesuit Universities in an Assessment of Campus Climate for Safeguarding.”

For over a decade, the Fordham University HIV and Drug Abuse Prevention Research Ethics Training Institute (RETI), sponsored by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), has been providing early career investigators in the social, behavioral, medical and public health fields with an opportunity to gain research ethics training.
