Graduate School Advising

The Graduate School Advising Program offers sessions that provide undergraduate students with helpful information and advice related to applying to and pursuing degrees in graduate school. These sessions are open to all Fordham University undergraduate students and cover topics such as the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Financial Aid & Fellowships, Personal Statements & Letters of Recommendation, as well as graduate programs and career pathways for particular fields. The Graduate School Advising Program schedule for this semester and flyers for upcoming sessions can be found below.

Arts and Sciences seniors are allowed to register for courses at Fordham’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA may register for courses offered by their major department. Permission is needed from the major department and the dean of Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Students should notify their class dean.

Eligible arts and sciences undergraduate students can enroll in select graduate degree programs at Fordham for the MSW, JD, MA, MS, and MST teaching degrees.

Qualified students may:

• Gain entry to the 3-3 program with Fordham Law School and thereby save a year of study.
• Apply for the accelerated master’s program in English and save a year of study.
• Earn the MSW degree in one year at the Fordham's Graduate School of Social Service.
• Earn an MS degree and teaching certification at the Graduate School of Education.
• Apply for the early admission program to pursue select MA and MS degrees at Fordham’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
