Electronic ID

For Students, Faculty, Staff

Overview

Your Fordham ID is one of your most important assets. Fordham offers two types of IDs: an electronic ID OR a physical ID card. You can decide which type of ID you would like to use – you may only have ONE type of ID.

You will need your ID to gain access to campuses, residence halls, offices, on-campus dining, computer labs, library services, event attendance, and more, so it is vital that you have your ID ready before you arrive or return to campus.

We recommend opting for the electronic ID; it’s easy to access via your mobile phone using the Fordham Mobile Go app and hard to lose!

In order to set up your Fordham ID card, you must first claim your Fordham username and password, have access to the Fordham.edu Portal, and set up multi-factor authentication. You can then begin setting up your ID via the Portal itself or through the Fordham Mobile Go application (iOS/Android).
