Spirion User Guide

Overview

Spirion is a security tool used at Fordham University to protect all sensitive data pertaining to the entire University community. The University Information Security Office manages Spirion.

Spirion is installed on University-owned computers and is similar to antivirus software. It searches files to pinpoint vulnerable data, such as Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, and passwords. When sensitive data is discovered, Spirion provides options to manage and protect it. The UISO may also be consulted for how to take action.

Access the user guide to learn how to install and use Spirion.
