2026-2027 TRI Projects

The TRI Advisory Committee selected 8 research projects for the 2026-2027 academic year from faculty proposals submitted in the spring of 2026. Evaluation criteria included the following:

  • Interdisciplinary integration bridging multiple distinct fields
  • Societal and global relevance focusing on urgent issues
  • Feasibility as seed/pilot research with potential for future funding and growth
  • Community engagement featuring collaboration with local organizations and advocacy groups with an emphasis on co-design and mutual benefit
  • Student involvement offering high-impact experiential learning and research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students
  • Alignment with Fordham's Jesuit mission and strategic plan
