Call for Proposals for BRICS

Grounding research in evidence, advocating for change, and empowering the Bronx.

We invite community organizations and Fordham-in-Community members to submit proposals for short-term projects that align with the  key focus areas of BRICS. We are looking for research proposals that address important topics and opportunities within the Bronx communities, focusing on innovative solutions and informing future initiatives with lasting impact. Whether your projects involve technological advancements, sustainable development, healthcare innovations, urban planning, social justice, or other relevant areas, BRICS offers a platform to amplify the positive impact of your contributions.

Proposal Process

The BRICS selection process is designed to identify and support research projects that align with our mission of fostering resilient, empowered, and thriving communities in the Bronx. The process involves key steps:

Important Notices: 

  • Community organizations can receive anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000 in funding for your proposed research. 
  • Fordham will also provide additional resources and tangible deliveries that range but are not limited to published reports, articles, and enhanced data analysis.
