Supporting Ethical Overdose Prediction for State and Local Public Health Authorities
Mechanism to Bridge Bioethics and Policy: Ethical Overdose Prediction Toolkit
To bridge the gap between bioethics research and policymaking, we propose to develop an ethical overdose prediction toolkit. Building directly on our team’s prior empirical and normative bioethics research, the toolkit will translate core bioethical principles into decision-making supports tailored to the realities of community-based preventive services implementation. The toolkit will be produced in partnership with the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and National Association for County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). This project is generously funded by The Greenwall Foundation.
