ACS Program Description

What will the program look like for me?

Advanced Certificate in Supervision

Created especially for spiritual directors and formators, the Advanced Certificate in Supervision (ACS)  is a year-long program providing extensive background and practice, as well as individual supervision and mentoring by the program director throughout the year.

Designed for those discerning a call to offer supervision to spiritual directors, pastors, and others engaged in contemplative ministries - and for those already doing so but desiring more background and skills - the ACS prepares participants to offer compassionate, contemplative, evocative individual and group supervision. It also cultivates the skills and sensibilities needed to participate in forming ministers across a variety of contexts, even as it creates ongoing community among its members and inspires them to notice and respond to God in all things.
