And we also know that the costs and affordability of graduate school play a major role in this decision. That is why we have gathered the best resources for you to help you in making your decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The best way to determine how much the program you are interested in or have been admitted to will cost from start to finish is to calculate it!

To help you do so, visit Fordham's Net Price Calculator.

Our net price calculator will provide you with a preliminary estimate of federal, state and institutional aid eligibility, to help families gauge what aid you might be awarded and to determine your cost of attendance, which is the cost that remains after aid.

    Please keep in mind:

    • This calculator is intended for U.S. citizens or U.S. "permanent residents" who will enter Fordham as first-time, full-time undergraduate students.
    • For 84% of students, the estimated net price is within $5,000 of the actual net price.
    • Actual federal awards are determined by the information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
    • The estimated aid results are only as reliable as the academic and financial data you enter into the calculator.
    • Receiving an estimate of financial aid, and/or an estimated net price does not imply the student will be admitted to the university.
    • Cost of attendance, estimated government and institutional awards and net price are subject to change.

Other programs to meet financial need

GRE offers students the opportunity to apply and work as a Graduate Assistant for either a faculty member (50% tuition discount) or in our front office (100% tuition remission). If you are interested in this type of opportunity, please email Asst. Dean Patrick Holt at [email protected].

    Quick Links

  • The cost of each course offered at the GRE is determined by credit hours. Courses offered at the GRE are generally are assigned to be worth three credits. So to determine the cost of one course, all you need to do is to multiply the current tuition rate by three.

Please keep in mind, tuition per credit does not include per semester fees. For a complete outline of GRE tuition and fees visit our tuition and fees page.

  • All students may find their Fordham tuition and fees bill in the student portal, my.fordham.edu.

Once you arrive in the portal, an e-bill with your current tuition charges and fees can be found in the sub-category: My Account.

  • From time to time, bills do not properly reflect what you have registered for. For example, sometimes students who submit to take a course for audit get a full bill - don't worry! Billing errors can be fixed.

If you notice an error on your tuition bill or have questions about charges or fees, please contact:
