CIS Graduate Programs
The Computer and Information Science Department offers the following graduate programs:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science
- Master of Science in Computer Science
- Master of Science in Cybersecurity
- Master of Science in Data Science
- Master of Science in Data Science and Quantitative Economics
- Dual MA/MS Degree in Data Science and Economics
- Advanced Certificate in Data Science for Cybersecurity
- Advanced Certificate in Financial Econometrics and Data Analysis
These graduate programs are offered through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS).

STEM Designation
The Ph.D. in Computer Science, M.S. in Computer Science, M.S. in Cybersecurity, and M.S. in Data Science are registered STEM designated programs, which permits a 24-month extension of post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT), for a total eligibility of up to 36 months.
