Global Strategy Group's Jeffrey B. Plaut does more political polling in New York than any pollster in America.

He has helped 27 New York Democrats get elected to office. Judith Hope, chair of the New York State Democratic Party said, "Jeff has helped elect Democrats from Nassau County to Niagara. He's been an important part of many of the most exciting and challenging Democratic campaigns here."

Jeffrey polled for the Working Families Party as they prepared for Hillary Clinton's successful run for the United States Senate. Recently, Jeffrey coordinated the polling for Eliot Spitzer's upset win for New York State Attorney General with 17 polls and focus groups over the course of the primary and general election (1998). Jeffrey also provided his polling expertise to the winning campaigns of his current clients Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy (D-NY), Congressman Charles Rangel (D-NY), Congressman Michael McNulty (D-NY), Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez (D-NY), Staten Island District Attorney Bill Murphy and Manhattan Borough President Virginia Fields.

Jeffrey is also the pollster for the Nassau County Democratic Party and helped them capture a historic majority in 1999. He also is the pollster for the Westchester County Democratic Party and helped them keep a legislative majority in 1999. In addition, Jeff conducted the polling for the New York City Central Labor Council's successful campaign against Mayor Giuliani's charter revision proposals (1999). And, he polls for the newly created labor party in New York-the Working Families Party.

He is currently polling for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in Ohio and New Jersey. He polled in the 2001 Detroit mayor's race and for UNITE in Florida. He also polls for the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), the YMCA of Greater New York and the New York City Coalition for the Homeless.

Jeffrey is frequently quoted in The New York Times, The New York Daily News, and The New York Post and is a frequent guest on Inside City Hall.

Jeffrey is an alumnus of Brown University and a principal at Global Strategy Group, Inc. a New York based political consulting and polling firm.
