  • Diana Kamin's broad research interests include intersections of visual culture and information history. Her recent book, Picture-Work: How Libraries, Museums, and Stock Agencies Launched a New Image Economy (MIT Press, 2023) explores the history, culture, and economics of sharing images. Her teaching draws on community engaged learning and emphasizes explorations of ethics and policy across media.
