AI has captured the world’s attention for its enormous potential. Fordham’s Office of the Provost and Office of Research organized this transdisciplinary Symposium to explore “Responsible AI” as a central lens for examining the future of this powerful tool.

This two-day symposium was co-sponsored by Fordham, IBM, NYU, and the AI Alliance. It brought together scholars, practitioners, and professionals from across the greater New York City area and beyond to advance this collaborative mission. Held in person, the symposium featured keynote speeches, selected paper sessions, a panel, a workshop, a fireside chat, and networking opportunities aimed at building a more responsible AI ecosystem.

Student research job fair – December 11, 2025

The student research job fair held at the Lincoln Center campus in December showcased the sponsored research projects of several PIs across a wide range of subject areas and disciplines. After brief presentations by Fordham professors, the students were encouraged to join the PIs in eight simultaneous roundtable discussions with the hope of joining one or more research projects. The event encouraged both undergraduate and graduate students to form connections and potential mentorship with the presenters.
