Brian Patrick Green

Brian Patrick Green is director of technology ethics at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. He is author of Space Ethics (2021), co-author of Ethics in the Age of Disruptive Technologies (2023), and contributor to three books with the Vatican’s Dicastery for Culture and Education. He works with the Partnership on AI, the World Economic Forum, and major technology companies. He holds doctoral and master’s degrees in ethics from the Graduate Theological Union and a BS in genetics from UC Davis.
