Michele C. Murray

Michele C. Murray becomes president of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities in June 2026, the first layperson to lead the organization, which represents 28 Jesuit institutions in the United States and Belize along with associate members in Canada. She goes to AJCU after three decades in Jesuit higher education, most recently as senior vice president for student development and mission at the College of the Holy Cross, preceded by leadership roles at Seattle University and Loyola University Maryland. She holds a PhD in education policy from the University of Maryland.
