Jessica Lang

Jessica Lang is Fordham’s inaugural dean of Arts and Sciences, overseeing faculty matters, academic programs, and initiatives across Fordham College at Lincoln Center, Fordham College at Rose Hill, and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She previously served as dean of the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences at Baruch College, where she joined the faculty in 2004, chaired the English department, and founded the Wasserman Jewish Studies Center. A scholar of early American fiction and Jewish American and Holocaust literature, she holds a BA from Cornell University, an MA from Washington University in St. Louis, and a PhD from Brandeis University.
