Finance Scholars

Students apply for admission to this select group, comprised of high-performing sophomores who are interested in Wall Street careers. Through unique networking opportunities with top investment banking professionals, students are informed about the numerous career paths in finance. Students benefit from resume review, mock-interview and job-search strategies, including networking, informational meetings, and general education in the finance industry.

Requirements for admission include:

  • A minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA across three semesters
  • Track record of involvement in extracurricular activities, particularly finance-related activities and workshops
  • Prior internship history 
  • Personal essay
  • Résumé in template

Requirements to maintain enrollment include:

  • A minimum grade of A- in Financial Management
  • A minimum 3.6 cumulative GPA across four semesters

Participants benefit from résumé reviews, mock interviews, meetings with Fordham alumni in finance, networking help, and general education on the finance industry.
