The health and welfare benefits program meets the requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) while continuing to offer faculty, administrators, and staff a choice of competitive, affordable health, dental, and vision benefits. It reflects much research and input from the Faculty Senate, the Administrators Conference, the Senate’s Salary and Benefits Committee, and a special ad hoc Committee on Health Insurance.
Employees enroll in health care benefits by logging into the University portal, My.Fordham.edu. They must select the Human Resources tab and within the My Fordham Benefits channel, access the enrollment site by selecting the On-Line Enrollment/Changes button . Our online benefits site will be available year-round for you and your family.
Once the On-Line Enrollment/Changes button has been selected and employees are redirected to the enrollment site, they will have access to:
- Submit family status changes, such as a birth of a child, marriage, divorce and loss of other coverage, within 30 days of the effective date of the change in status.
- View current benefits
- Review plan summaries
- Obtain forms
