Human Resources Policies and Guides

University policies on discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct continue to apply to behaviors that occur in person between members of the university community, and conduct that occurs online and in a virtual setting. Prohibited behaviors include cyber-harassment, cyber-bullying and cyber-stalking that is based on a person's sex, gender, gender idetifying charachteristics, age, race, national origin, disability, and other characteristics protected by law. Members of the community are expected to refrain from discriminatory or harassing behaviors, and maintain a tone of civility and respect in online classes and during on-line meetings just as they would if they were physically present on campus.
