The journal welcomes submissions from current Fordham students and recent graduates as well as students from other universities who conducted research at Fordham.
The Fordham Undergraduate Research Journal (FURJ) features high quality, peer-reviewed, original undergraduate research conducted by students in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences. FURJ will also include book reviews and review essays as well as feature articles. All research articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer and faculty review process.
While publishing is the ultimate goal, FURJ also aims to expose undergraduate students to the submission and review process. We will work closely with authors throughout the submission process. Because FURJ strives to reach a diverse audience, authors should endeavor to present their research in such a way that will be understandable to as many scholars as possible.
