The following is a checklist of freshwater algae collected from Calder Lake by students and staff at the biological field station, and by members of the Freshwater Algae class. The taxa listed below have been collected from planktonic, periphyton, and benthic habitats since 1967 (updated in 2016 by J. D. Wehr).
