Experimental Lake Facility at the Calder Center

The field station, also known as ELF, maintains a lakewater-fed experimental lake facility consisting of 26 large (5400 L) mesocosms used for experimental studies on trophic interactions and biogeochemistry. The ELF tanks are used by researchers and instructors.
