The AASHE STARS reports demonstrates our commitment to share our sustainability progress with our community and the public.
Building decarbonizing matters. We pledge to 50% reduction by 2030 as participant of the NYC Carbon Challenge to reduce our annual carbon emissions intensity (tCO2e / sq. ft.) in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent normalized by square feet, based on the energy consumption data from 2006 base year. Fordham was a founding signatory at the launch of NYC Carbon Challenge program in 2007. We reached 30% carbon reduction in 2021.
