Fordham offers a variety of international internship programs for a semester or summer session, along with virtual opportunities.
Program options include the following:
Students in the semester London Internship program take 15-18 credits at the London Centre chosen from courses in liberal arts or business subjects. Interns work at their internship sites for approximately 2 days per week. For the summer program, students spend the month of July interning full-time following a month of intensive coursework at the London Centre. Placements are available in Advertising, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Business, Film, Radio, Television, International Relations, Journalism, Politics, Pre-Law, Psychology, Health Science, Public Relations, and Theatre.
Fordham in Granada ofers the opportunity to enroll in for-credit internships administered by the University of Granada in partnership with local companies and organizations in a Fall or Spring semester. Students interested in pursuing careers in business, education, health services and social service are particularly encouraged to apply. Internships require the completion of 45 hours of supervised work, ten hours of seminar instruction and participation during class. Students will complete a final project and present their experience to their classmates and instructor at the end of the semester. Intermediate or advanced level of Spanish is necessary. Internships are available in the fields of Business, Education, Health Services, and Social Service.
Students in this program find an internship outside of the United States independently or through a placement organization and then enroll in a one-credit internship seminar with Fordham University online. Enrollment in this program will enable Fordham University to assist you with certifying academic credit eligibility with your host internship site abroad.
