Good Neighbor Initiative
Starting in fall 2021, the Good Neighbor Initiative provides an automatic 30% tuition reduction for undergraduate degree-seeking students enrolled in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies at Fordham’s Rose Hill campus, as long as they live within one of the campus’ “neighbor” zip codes:
This reduction does not affect the student’s eligibility for financial aid, such as merit aid, Pell grants, support from the New York State Tuition Assistance Program, and institutional aid. If a student qualifies for more than one discount (e.g., NYPD, FDNY, NYC Ballet Dancers, dependent of Fordham staff member, etc.), the student will receive the higher of the two awards. To qualify, students must do the following:
- Prove “neighbor” residency by completing the FAFSA.
- Apply and be registered as a PCS undergraduate student with Rose Hill as your campus.
- Take at least 50% of your classes at Rose Hill every semester you are enrolled.
- Apply as a new student for the fall 2021 term. Readmitted students will be considered case by case. After fall 2021, students must remain in good academic standing, with a minimum GPA of 2.0, to remain eligible for the Good Neighbor discount.
