Jason Rogers

Jason Rogers serves as associate vice president, digital initiatives lead for the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Direct-to-Consumer Products, Technology, and Operations group. In this role, Rogers leads strategic initiatives at the intersection of media and technology, helping shape the NBA’s consumer products experience and modernizing technology and operational workflows that facilitate the leagues' global reach.
 
Prior to the NBA, Rogers served as vice president, corporate strategy, development, & partnerships for Engine Gaming & Media. There, he led corporate development efforts and strategic partnerships across the company’s portfolio, which included direct-to-consumer cash-entry and free-to-play games, as well as enterprise influencer marketing and live streaming analytics software for global video game publishers and brands. Rogers led numerous acquisition and divestures, including the successful sale of the business to GameSquare Holdings. 
 
Earlier in his career, Rogers was part of the Strategy & Planning team within American Express’s Enterprise Growth Group, which focused on expanding and diversifying the company’s consumer base through prepaid financial products and mobile banking solutions.
 
Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
