Yanki Kalfa

Yanki Kalfa received his PhD in Finance from the University of California San Diego, Rady School of Management and joined the Gabelli School of Business in 2025. His interests encompass Asset Pricing and Machine Learning, which serve as a foundation across his research portfolio. Research to date includes the investment performance of pension plans, stock return predictability, and return volatility arising from industry concentration. Contributions made from this work have resulted in research awards and grants –including recognition from the International Center for Pension Management (ICPM)– as well as conference presentations in China, Europe, and the United States.
