About the Fordham Career Ambassadors

The Fordham Career Ambassadors (FCA) are the bridge between our office and the student body. As current students, FCAs combine their personal experience with training in career advising to help other Fordham students navigate career development.

Fordham Career Ambassadors may provide the following services:

  • Introduce freshman and sophomore students to the Career Center and Fordham Futures
  • Advise students on their first resumes and cover letters
  • Conduct mock interviews
  • Teach students how to utilize Handshake to find an internship or full-time job
  • Market Career Center events and services on campus and through social media

    The Humanities Student Ambassadors (HSAs) are a dynamic group of students who are looking to bridge the gap between professional development opportunities and Fordham's humanities community. HSAs rely on their passion for the humanities and their curiosity about career readiness to steer students toward career exploration and success.

    While Fordham Career Ambassadors (FCAs) may be from any academic background, the HSA program is specifically tailored to the needs of humanities students and related disciplines.
