Youkun Huang

Youkun Huang is an assistant professor of accounting at the Gabelli School of Business. Her current research focuses on tax authority monitoring and its interaction with non-tax regulators, accounting for income taxes, and the real effects of tax policy and tax disclosures. She currently teaches individual and business entity taxation at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior to academia, Professor Huang had five years of professional experience in both public accounting and industry. She was a senior tax consultant at PwC in Atlanta, Georgia. Professor Huang is a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and Illinois and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Professor Huang received her PhD in Accounting from the University of Arizona, an MS in Accountancy degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a bachelor’s degree in international accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
