At unprecedented speed, artificial intelligence is reshaping how we live, learn, and do business—creating both opportunity and responsibility for today’s leaders. Anchored at the Gabelli School of Business and informed by Fordham University’s Jesuit commitment to purpose and service to society, the Fordham AI Hub is New York City’s home for ethical, applied AI grounded in discipline-specific expertise, academic rigor, and experiential learning. The Hub connects companies, entrepreneurs, policymakers, students, and community partners to harness AI responsibly for growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.

AI x Business Education

The Hub’s physical space is in development, but initiatives launched in Fall 2025 with programming focused on community, industry partnerships, and the future of work.

We are focused on a platform to grow talent, commercialize solutions, and drive inclusive economic growth. The Hub serves a role that only Fordham can fill, turning ethical AI business innovation into real-world implementation.

Industry Roundtable on Building an AI-Ready Workforce (Dec 2025)

Senior leaders from Adobe, BlackRock, EY, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Prudential, and other top employers joined Fordham faculty to identify AI literacy needs and cross-sector workforce strategies, moderated by Fordham’s AI Industry Fellow Vincent Ponzo – and expressed support for the launch of the Fordham AI Hub.

AI at the Service of Communities

Creating Pipelines of Access and Ensuring Human-Centered Innovation (Nov 2025)

More than 25 community leaders—including NYC Small Business Services, NYC Public Schools, BronxNet, and The Posse Foundation—explored how AI can expand opportunity rather than widen divides.

AI Exploration for Community-Based Organizations “Teach-In” (Nov 2025)

Partnered with Google and Tech: NYC’s Decoded Futures team for an “AI for Good” training at the SOMOS Conference in Puerto Rico, serving more than 50 nonprofit leaders from across New York and Puerto Rico.

AI & Cybersecurity: Threats, Opportunities, and Securing the Future (July 2025)

Hosted as part of Fordham’s International Conference on Cyber Security, this workshop convened government, legal, and industry professionals to examine how AI is reshaping the cybersecurity landscape, including emerging AI-driven threats, governance and risk considerations, and strategies for securing organizations and public institutions in an AI-enabled environment.

AI Summit New York (Dec 2025)

Fordham participated as a Partner Institution at the longest-running commercial AI conference on the East Coast, contributing faculty speakers and engaging students alongside industry leaders to elevate responsible AI dialogue.

WOBI - World Business Forum (Nov 2025)

As a major sponsor of this global leadership summit drawing more than 3,000 attendees to NYC, Fordham positioned itself as a thought leader in AI and responsible business through faculty-led presentations and curated programming..

Responsible AI Symposium (Oct 2025)

Fordham co-hosted a transdisciplinary Responsible AI conference with IBM, NYU, and the AI Alliance, convening technologists, industry leaders, and researchers to examine ethical, legal, and societal implications of AI.

AI for Educators Summit (Oct 2025)

As a Partner Institution during NYC EdTech Week, Fordham supported an accredited AI for Educators conference with StartEd and Columbia University focused on equipping K-12 and higher education professionals with practical tools and frameworks for AI-informed teaching and learning.
