About Mirza
Mirza Amin manages the Career Center's data, overseeing collection, analysis, and reporting of student outcomes to promote data-driven strategy aligned with the University's mission. Collaborating with the Director, he interprets and visualizes multivariate data to inform strategic decisions and optimize efficiencies. He ensures data accuracy, manages platforms (like Handshake), and provides audit-ready reporting by working with Institutional Research, IT, and the First Destination Survey team. Mirza also responds to national surveys (e.g., NACE) and prepares reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Prior to this role, Mirza worked in Fordham University’s IT department, supporting campus technology systems and helping ensure secure, reliable access for students, faculty, and staff. He also served as a Computer Science Teaching Assistant, where he guided students through programming coursework and helped them build confidence in problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
