Secondary Concentrations in Marketing

No matter what your major, you can add a marketing concentration to your Gabelli School degree.

The Fordham marketing faculty has created three secondary concentrations that any business student may pursue—regardless of major. They are:

  • Marketing Analytics
  • Strategic Branding
  • Services Marketing

Earning one of these can help to position you for jobs in marketing research, marketing analytics, branding, advertising, or service-related fields such as financial services and retailing. Each requires only three specific courses as outlined below, for a total of 9 credits.

Required courses

Marketing Analytics

  • Marketing Analytics
  • Data-Driven Marketing Decisions
  • Web Analytics (IS course)

Strategic Branding

  • Branding
  • Revealing Consumer Insights
  • Marketing Analytics

Services Marketing

  • Services Marketing
  • Financial Services Marketing
  • Customer Experience Management

Please note: MKBU 3225 Marketing Principles is a prerequisite for all of the above courses, and therefore must be taken before beginning one of the concentrations.
