Daniel Troise, President of the Gabelli School Graduate Student Advisory Council, to Serve as Student Speaker for the Gabelli School Graduate Diploma Ceremony

Daniel Troise, who will be graduating with a master’s in business administration, serves as president of the Gabelli School of Business Graduate Student Advisory Council, and has made his mark as both a leader and a convener. Throughout his time at the Gabelli School, he has encouraged and facilitated student engagement and has made it his mission to promote academic excellence among his peers. Drawn to the School’s collaborative culture, challenging yet flexible curriculum, and New York City location, Troise pursued a dual concentration in communications and finance—a combination that has equipped him to see both the message and the metrics behind effective leadership and across the business functions.

“The Gabelli School offered me a structured path to curiosity, where community and conversation were just as important as the coursework,” he noted.

Troise already had a well-established global career in communications and external relations when he enrolled in the MBA program. He holds the prominent role of global communications manager at Ansell, where he leads cross-functional branding and stakeholder engagement initiatives, shaping strategic messaging across international markets. Prior to this experience, he worked at Sharpe Electronics Corporation USA, bringing his marketing and communications expertise to a variety of increasingly responsible roles.

During his time at the Gabelli School, these professional experiences were both amplified and complemented by his close collaboration with faculty and classmates, and his ability to introduce new ideas and get things done. Troise credits the MBA program’s emphasis on dialogue and applied learning with enhancing his leadership style and broadening his perspective.

As graduation approaches, he is focused on leveraging his professional background, as well as the knowledge and skills he has acquired during his MBA journey, to drive continuous and meaningful impact in his current role and beyond.
