About Avery

As Internship Program Coordinator at Fordham University’s Career Center, Avery helps students navigate the internship and early career landscape with confidence. She specializes in interview prep, resume building, understanding job market trends, and guiding students through the application process, helping them uncover opportunities that align with their goals and showcase their unique strengths.

Before joining Fordham, she built her professional foundation in fundraising, starting at a small startup and later at one of New York City’s largest social service nonprofits. Those experiences taught her the power of exploring different roles and industries to discover your skills, refine your career direction, and “sell” yourself in the job market. Avery is passionate about helping students connect the dots between their experiences, uncover where they thrive, and navigate professional opportunities across industries with clarity, confidence, and curiosity.
